How Gift Cards Work?
How gift cards work ?
Gift card is a special type of product which is issued by baazkart at your specified amount. You can customise the amount of your gift card purchase. If you want to customise your gift card according to your own preference then you could write to us at email@example.com and tell us your specifications and we would customise a gift card for you.
Customisation of a gift card is possible in terms of amount, design, and text of your choice (e.g. Happy Birthday, Happy New Year, with name written). After making a gift card of your choice, we will email it to you.
An online gift card is sent to you on your Email ID, and it contains:
- The gift card code, this code is used at checkout to redeem the value of the gift card when purchasing a product from our store.
- A print button, for obtaining a paper copy of the gift card.
- A start shopping button, for quickly navigating back to your store.
How to redeem a Gift Card ?
You can redeem the monetary value of a gift card by entering its unique code at checkout. A gift card holds a balance which can be spent over multiple transactions.
Add products to your cart.
Step 2 :
Enter Gift Card Code in the gift card section during Checkout and then enter Apply.
Step 3 :
Complete the checkout by taking one of the following actions:
If the balance available on your gift card is greater than or equal to the order total, you can simply click Place my order.
If the balance available on the gift card is less than the total order amount, then you will be prompted to choose an additional payment method to cover the difference; henceforward place your order.
The balance remaining on the gift card is displayed on the order confirmation page, below the masked gift card code in the Payment Information section.
The remaining balance on any gift card can be used for further purchases at BaazKart.
*In case you misplace your gift card or require a balance update, you can contact us and we will email you an updated gift card. This email would include the gift card code and an updated balance.
